MANILA, PHILIPPINES— In celebration of Philippine Film Industry Month (PFIM), the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) is proud to present Sine Kabataan Short Film Festival 2024. The festival’s 7th entry will feature a diverse lineup of nine (9) short films by young filmmakers from across the regions premiering September 20-22, 2024, at the Red Carpet Cinemas in Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong.

In its fourth year, PFIM 2024 promises an unforgettable tribute to the nation’s cinematic heritage, with the theme 'Tuloy ang Tradisyon ng Pelikulang Pilipino,' honoring the legacies of National Artists for Film, especially marking the 100th birth anniversary of Eddie Romero.
