THE FDCP TEAMS UP WITH FEST FILM LAB TO TRAIN FILIPINO FILMMAKERS

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) brings the prestigious Fest Film Lab to the country for the first time, offering Filipino filmmakers a rare opportunity to learn from global industry experts. From July 12 - 17, 2025, the inaugural Fest Film Lab workshop in the Philippines will be held at Seda Manila Bay, featuring a series of specialized workshops designed to sharpen the skills of local filmmakers.

FDCP Announces Opening of Film Philippines Incentives 2025 Cycle 2

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Following the success of Cycle 1 of the Film Philippines Incentives (FPI) program, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) officially opens Cycle 2 from July 2, 2025, to July 21, 2025. The incentives guidelines have been updated to cater short film formats under the International Co-Production Fund (ICOF).

This follows the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the two institutions on March 5, 2024.
