The FDCP’s Inter-agency Partnership Program aims to support government agencies in their film-related events and executions by providing relevant  films,  hosting talkbacks/discussions, and providing a venue/platform for the film screenings.

THE PHILIPPINE PAVILION

Through the UniPhilippines Program, FDCP  has hosted the Philippine Pavilion in major international film markets like Hong Kong FILMART, Cannes Film Market, Asian Film Market, and Asian Television Forum. Around 30 to 40 companies participate in each film market throughout the year to connect with international counterparts for co-production on projects and distribution of films.

Since 2016, more than 100 films have been showcased as part of the lineup of these film festivals either to be in competition or exhibition.

Best Practices Exchange

The Best Practice Exchange (BPX) is a forum for debate among the leaders of agencies from across the world that provide public funding to stimulate, sustain and promote new filmmaking for the cinema. More than ever before, these agencies are the bedrock of ‘independent’ work for the big screen, that is, films made outside the main production centres of Hollywood and Bollywood, films that express all the other cultures, values and languages that mainstream movies do not encompass.
