Project Development Officer

UNIT / PROGRAM: Festivals Division  STATUS: Contract of Service (COS)  SALARY: SG 11 (PHP 30,024)


PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: FDCP Central Office - Makati

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the Philippine Embassies Assistance Program (PEAP) and the Film Cultural Exchange Program (FCEP) within the Festival Division.  
  • Coordinate the implementation and application processes for these programs with both Philippine and international embassies.  
  • Acknowledge inquiries and submissions, evaluate applications in accordance with established guidelines, provide recommendations, issue notifications for granted and declined applications, and facilitate the signing of agreements.  
  • Ensure the timely execution of support and offer logistical and technical assistance for activities and partnerships related to the programs.  
  • Provide guidance to grantees regarding the proper utilization of grants and assist in the preparation of reports.  
  • Monitor the fulfillment of grantees' return of service obligations and issue clearances based on the completion of related partnerships and grants.  
  • Collaborate with appropriate divisions to arrange internal support for program-related partnerships and initiatives.  
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive database to organize information pertinent to the programs, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and relevance.  
  • Conduct periodic evaluations of the programs and develop recommendations based on current guidelines and practices. 
  • Support the division with ad hoc responsibilities as necessary.  
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, International Relations, Diplomacy, or a related
    field preferred
  • Demonstrated excellence in both oral and written communication skills.   
  • Strong organizational and diplomatic capabilities.  
  • Fluent in both the English and Filipino languages.  
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Canva, and Adobe software.
