PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT: FDCP Central Office - Manila
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement an accounting system accompanied by robust internal controls that fulfill the requirements of the Council, ensuring the proper receipt of revenues (if applicable) from subsidiaries and adherence to laws and regulations regarding expenditures.
- Conduct all accounting activities, which encompass the following:
- Reviewing financial reports submitted by accounting personnel concerning the Council’s Financial Statements.
- Classifying, recording, and preparing financial reports.
- Consolidating, analyzing, and interpreting financial statements.
- Maintaining the Council's books of accounts.
- Ensuring the timely submission and accuracy of all financial reports, including those mandated by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, and the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS).
- Responding to documents, letters, and memoranda received from various stakeholders, management, the Commission on Audit (COA), and other oversight agencies.
- Providing technical assistance to various offices, divisions, and units.
- Executing additional duties as assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting.
- A minimum of one (1) year of relevant professional experience.
- Completion of at least four (4) hours of pertinent training.
- Possession of RA 1080 certification (Certified Public Accountant).
